Jespersen Ranch, Edna Valley

Like a 1920's Speak-Easy, this wine is seductive and mischievous yet elegant with great depth and structure. It's radical and dark in character and is the backbone of our newly released Le Pave red blend. Barrel aged for 24 months on neutral French oak to not overpower the nuances of the varietal. Though the '11 Grenache is drinkable now, this wine will cellar for 5-7 years, gaining complexity and rounder tannins. We recommend that you decant 30 minutes before drinking.
