A beautiful plum red hue with a hint of coffee nut and red licorice on the nose. The front is tart with notes of pomegranate. The mid palate boasts of red plum/pluot, red beet and fennel. A smooth finish lingers with black currant and honey. Tannins are high showing agability and the nice acidity welcomes salty foods. Dishes with gentle spice will do well.
